Although I am trained and licensed to offer my clients most any type of mortgage lending product available, after 35 years in the Mortgage Lending Industry, I find great satisfaction in specializing in Reverse Mortgage Lending for the following reasons:

Peace of mind in knowing that the government version of the Reverse mortgage HECM (Home Equity Conversion Mortgage) is a Safe, Federally-Insured Loan Program that was signed into effect way back in 1988 by then President Ronald Reagan. A Reverse Mortgage is regulated by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Giving my clients more choices: The homeowner can choose to fund the costs associated with remaining in their existing home as they grow older by providing funds to cover expenses such as “in-home care” or other associated expenses. More choice in the fact that my senior clients can also choose to use a Reverse Mortgage to purchase another home that may better meet their housing needs. And, best of all, the For Purchase HECM Reverse Mortgage gives my senior clients the freedom of buying another home while at the same time eliminating the burden of paying mortgage payments for as long as they live and occupy their home. Choice in the fact that my clients can choose simply use their proceeds enjoying more Fun and Fulfillment their retirements years. A Reverse Mortgage can provide the means to travel more, buy an RV, fund a legacy gift, or they can choose to keep available funds in a special Line of Credit that can be accessed anytime the need arises. The Line of Credit is unique in the fact that the unused available funds can grow over time.
In short, the proceeds from a Reverse Mortgage can be used in any way that the borrower chooses. There are no restrictions.
